Formación

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year in a commercial role within the same industry.
  • Fluent in English.

For our dynamic, growing, and innovative Brands division within an established international pharmaceutical company, we seek an experienced Medical Affairs field professional. This role requires someone willing to think beyond traditional pharma MSL roles and operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial manner. The position offers broad development opportunities, engaging in various business aspects and managing daily tasks independently. Working alongside another Medical Manager based in Madrid, Spain, you will be responsible for the Medical Affairs strategy and execution of medical projects in Spain, while also supporting Sales and Marketing colleagues, especially those with a commercial outlook.

You should reside in Spain (preferred locations include Andalucía – Sevilla, Malaga; Madrid; Barcelona, but candidates from other regions will also be considered) and speak English to communicate effectively with the European Management team. You will report to the Lead Medical Managers Europe, located across Europe, with the European offices based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Major tasks & responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute Medical Affairs strategies and scientific projects, including publications and advisory boards.
  2. Identify and foster relationships with KOLs and influencers in the scientific and healthcare communities, utilizing evidence-based information.
  3. Support the development and launch of melanoma products through scientific exchange and support Early Access Program requests for melanoma patients in Spain.
  4. Provide business support to marketing, commercial, and market access teams for Odomzo (sonidegib) in treating locally advanced basal cell carcinoma.
  5. Lead the approval process for investigator-initiated trials and monitor their progress.
  6. Disseminate clinical and scientific information about marketed and pipeline compounds ethically and timely.
  7. Build connections with national, regional, and local networks in Derma-oncology and other TAs.
  8. Communicate emerging data to experts and respond to healthcare professional inquiries.
  9. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support.
Key Performance Indicators / result areas
  1. Plan and execute medical tactics ahead of new melanoma product launches.
  2. Enhance awareness of sonidegib treatment among dermatologists and within the KOL community.
  3. Plan and implement peer-to-peer programs and national symposia.
  4. Publish local medical content, including abstracts and posters.
  5. Deliver scientific presentations in hospitals.
  6. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including marketing, market access, and Key Account Managers.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience & Skills
  • Graduate or postgraduate (bio)medical/scientific degree.
  • Driver’s license.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an MSL or Medical Manager in the innovative pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 1 year in a commercial role within the same industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Desirable: Dermatology or Oncology experience; experience with Early Access Programs in Spain.
