Kreios Space in Spain is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the mechanical design and development of our satellite platform and ABEP thruster systems. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the full development cycle, supporting design, integration, validation and iteration of lab and flight hardware.
The role requires 5+ years in mechanical design, strong CAD (SolidWorks or similar) and experience with FEM tools (FEMAP, Nastran).
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the mechanical design and development of Kreios Space’s satellite platform and ABEP thruster systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across the full development cycle, supporting the design, integration, validation and improvement of both laboratory and flight hardware. Your mission will be to ensure that mechanical solutions are robust, reliable and aligned with the demanding requirements of space environments.
At Kreios Space, you won’t be joining a large, layered organization where engineering is far from decision-making. You will work close to the core of the technology, alongside the people designing, building and testing it.
This is a hands-on role in a deep-tech environment where mechanical engineering has a direct impact on hardware performance, manufacturability and iteration speed. You will contribute to real systems, real constraints and real technical trade-offs, not just documentation or isolated design tasks.
We are building ambitious space technology from the ground up, which means high ownership, fast learning and close collaboration across disciplines. If you enjoy working on complex hardware, moving between design and practical implementation, and being part of a team that is shaping the product as it evolves, this is the kind of environment where you can do your best work.
