We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Lead to guide the delivery of strategic initiatives within the Energy and Utilities sector. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on expertise in AWS, micro‑services, and DevOps practices, and the ability to manage complex solutions across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee technical initiatives and support strategic projects.
• Deliver and manage:
  • Technical Debt Backlog
  • Application Technical Documentation
  • Infrastructure Change Requests
• Provide technical support for the Spanish Network Applications Maintenance Department.
• Manage initiatives and projects, including economic control and procedure updates.
• Perform technical tasks:
  • Access management
  • DevOps implementation support
  • Cloud strategy
  • Coordination and integration checks
• Design and implement complex technical solutions in line with business goals.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar.
• Up to 15 years of experience in the defined technologies/platforms.
• Strong technical background in:
  • Java
  • Angular
  • Microservices
  • AWS Cloud Application Development
  • DevOps practices
• Proven experience in designing complex solutions.
• Knowledge of the Energy and Utilities market and GDPR compliance.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, global environment.
• Fluent English and Spanish (mandatory).

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Portuguese language skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Availability to work 2–3 days per week on‑site in Oviedo, Spain (highly valued).
