Job summary

Sigma .AI is seeking freelance data annotation specialists to work remotely from Canada. The role involves categorization, annotation, transcription, and quality validation across audio, video, images, and text.

You will contribute to localization and content creation while adhering to linguistic standards and detailed guidelines. Ideal candidates hold a BA in Linguistics, are native or near-native Mandarin speakers with strong English skills, and have experience with data annotation platforms.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Languages, Literature, or a related field
• Linguist with native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
• Fluent in English with the ability to accurately listen and write with excellent spelling and attention to detail
• Solid command of linguistic theory, grammar, and language structure
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Computer literacy (Preferred (but not mandatory))
  • Experience in data annotation or content rating
  • Strong attention to detail
