A renowned solar energy firm is seeking a Country Manager for Iberia to establish and boost sales market share. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of technical sales experience in the Iberia Solar PV market and a strong network with EPCs and Developers. Formación

On behalf of a world-famous and premium Solar PV manufacturer, AD Energy is in search of a Country Manager - Iberia.

My client are a household name in the Solar systems market, and continue to grow at a very fast pace.

The Spain and Portugal region continues to be a huge market in 2025 and beyond, and with a growing team already, this is an exciting growth phase for the business hence we require a dynamic and commercially- minded professional to help boost and grow the market share they already have.

The Sales Director will be tasked to establish, develop, and maintain prosperous business relations with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs / Developers, as well as Utilities and then working with the smaller installers to pull sales and business through.

This position will be a permanent Spain or Portugal employment opportunity and will be based mainly in a home-office. On offer is a competitive salary, strong bonus, company car, working tools, health care, and pension.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate in executing the regional sale business plan in Iberia
  • Keep abreast of solar market, suggest and pursue sale opportunities in region
  • Continually establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs
  • Forge business relationships with new clients and negotiate and close terms
  • Actively extend your personal and professional solar pv network with relevant partners in the solar and pv market : funders, consultants, and developers
Qualifications
  • Possess a complete knowledge of the solutions and be a brand advocate
  • Possess a minimum of 7 years technical sales and commercial leadership experience with the Iberia Solar PV market
  • A strong knowledge of the solar and photovoltaic technology array
  • A strong foundation network with EPCs, Developers and funders
  • Must have fluent language ability in Spanish
  • Ability to close deals and business negotiations
  • Have a business forward and hunter type nature
