Bloomberg L.P. in Madrid is seeking an On-Site Support Specialist to ensure the reliability of Bloomberg technology for employees and clients.

You will provide hands-on IT support in a production environment, covering hardware, software, and network issues, with some travel within Madrid and surrounding areas. This visible role requires strong technical fundamentals, the ability to prioritize, and excellent communication in Spanish and English, with on-call rotation and potential evenings or

Formación

• Experience in customer support with technical familiarity.
• Strong networking fundamentals incl. TCP/IP, DNS, routing.
• Excellent communication in Spanish and English.
• Full right to work in Spain and driving license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on installation and servicing of servers, routers, switches and workstations.
• Troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues using TCP/IP, DNS, subnetting and routing.
• Support Windows and Mac environments across hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist with deployment and license activation to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Bloomberg’s service management systems.
• Manage competing priorities with professionalism in high-visibility environments.
