Bank of America in Madrid is offering the Global Corporate Banking 2027 Off-Cycle Analyst internship. You will join the Iberia coverage team, working with Spanish and Portuguese clients across industries and products, gaining exposure to financing, treasury, and risk management advice.

• Pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degree with completion between Jan 2026 and Jul 2028.
• On track for UK 2:1 or equivalent.
• Available to join January–December 2027.
• Proficient English and native Spanish.
• Diversity of degree disciplines welcomed.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Global Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination, and execution across a diverse set of product areas (including Loan & Bond financing, FX and Interest Rate Derivatives, Cash Management, leasing, etc.)
• Gain an in-depth understanding of our clients, the industries in which they operate and how the bank helps support both their growth aspirations and day-to-day banking requirements
• Provide market-informed judgments on financing strategies to address clients' needs
• Help prepare financial models and analytical presentations to provide advice across capital structure
• Support on analysis, Due Diligence and elaboration of relevant Memos required for internal Business, Credit and Compliance approvals
• Become proficient at credit analysis and metrics used to price and structure various debt instruments
• Gain familiarity with the legal and documentation aspects of various debt instruments
• Work on live transactions and interact with clients as you build your network and experience
• Help to generate ideas and cross selling opportunities for new and existing clients
• Assist in the development of client specific analysis (e.g., capital structure, acquisition finance)
• Work closely with Investment Banking, Capital Markets and Global Transaction Services teams on client coverage and origination
