Engineering Oil & Gas Company is seeking a Machinist for Libya Offshore on Scarabeo 9. 12-hour offshore shifts, 28 days on duty paid – 28 days off duty unpaid.

Responsibilities include operating lathes, milling and drilling equipment, performing maintenance, and ensuring toolbox talks and JSA compliance. Flights and insurance are provided; reporting to the 2nd Engineer. Revision: September start, 12 months renewable.

Formación

• 3+ years experience in the machinist role on offshore drilling vessels; Jack Up excluded
• Minimum 5 years offshore drilling experience in this role

Responsabilidades

• Operate lathes, milling machines and drilling tools to manufacture components from steel per tolerances
• Where available, operate CNC machining according to capability
• Execute repairs on mechanical equipment in machine shops
• Maintain a clean, organized machine shop and comply with safety rules
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machining tools per supplier specs
• Participate in toolbox talks and JSA as required
• Wear PPE and report to the 2nd Engineer

Engineering Oil & Gas Company is looking for a Machinist, for Libya Offshore

• Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling tools, to produce custom objects from steel pieces, according to specified tolerances
• Where available, operate computer numerical control machining according to his/her own capabilities
• Execute repairs with regard to mechanical equipment used in the machine shops
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the machine shop
• Perform regular maintenance on the machining tools according to the supplier specifications
• Partecipate to the Tool box talks meetings and JSA (Job Safety Analysis) as required
• Wear the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Report to the 2nd Engineer

Requirements

• Experience in the respective position - 3 years, onboard offshore drilling vessels Semi - Sub / Drill Ships is a must ( only Jack Up will not be considered )
• Minimum 5 years of Drilling OFFSHORE experience in the specific role
