Job summary

Utopia is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design development of luxury villa and boutique hotel projects worldwide, focusing on high-end hospitality assets.

You will design and oversee MEP systems and deliver detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD, collaborating with architects and engineers. This fully remote role requires strong technical rigor, English proficiency, and a proven track record in luxury hospitality design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Building Engineering.
• 5–10 years of engineering design experience in design consultancy or general contractor.
• Proven track record in high-end hospitality projects (hotels, luxury villas).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Professional level of English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee MEP systems for luxury villas and hotels, ensuring codes and standards are met.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers and engineers to integrate systems.
• Coordinate with BIM team; model coordination and detailing using CAD/BIM tools.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing for performance.
