Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe, Spain, seeks an Engineer or Scientist to lead Materials & Processes development for Low Observability materials. You will join the M&P Development group within the Airframe organization and build a new laboratory for LO material mixing and pre-prototyping, balancing high technical depth with leadership responsibilities.

The role requires a 5+ year background in materials and processes, lab management experience, proficiency in English and Spanish, and

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or Science required.
• Master's degree highly valued.
• 5+ years in materials and processes with lab experience.
• Laboratory/pre-prototyping management experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of REACH and Airbus standards.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare new building: define requirements, CapEx dossier, safety, and financial plan.
• Manage new building: oversee maintenance and calibration of equipment.
• Develop materials: support R&D for composites, metals, coatings, and elastomerics.
• Lead testing activities for Low Observability materials.
• Define test plans for new technologies and materials.
• Conduct failure analysis for assigned scope.
• Provide technical support to services and industrial environments.
