Job summary

Clue Technologies is hiring a Linux Device Drivers Developer to design and implement firmware for its embedded systems. You will work on the root software environment, boot-loaders, and drivers across multiple architectures within a safety-critical aviation-oriented product line.

Proficiency in Linux kernel driver development, Embedded Linux, and C is required. Knowledge of Yocto/Buildroot, hardware interfaces, and Git workflows is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronic, software, or telecommunications engineering.
• Experience developing Linux kernel device drivers.
• Strong knowledge of Embedded Linux architecture and internals.
• Solid C programming skills.
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or similar embedded Linux distributions.
• Understanding of hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, etc.
• Familiarity with kernel debugging and profiling tools.
• Experience with Git and Linux development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware software for multiple architectures designed by Clue.
• Build and refine the root software environment for embedded systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for firmware integration.
• Configure hardware for boot-up and develop boot-loaders for platforms.
• Develop system runtime environments (kernel, user-space libraries).
• Create and test drivers for Clue hardware and third-party devices on RTOS.
• Maintain high-quality QA through test setup and documentation.
• Work with DO-178C methodologies and high standards.
