Job summary

Fever, a leading tech platform for culture and live entertainment, seeks a Corporate Counsel to lead complex commercial transactions from Madrid HQ. You will negotiate joint ventures and co-investments, advise business teams, and collaborate with external advisors across multiple geographies.

You will act as a trusted partner to Fever’s growth, ensuring governance, compliance, and strategic alignment while supporting a fast-paced, international team. Fluent English and Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Barred / practising lawyer with at least 4 years PQE in corporate transactions.
• Experience in M&A or partnerships; media / entertainment a plus.
• Excellent academic record or experience in top-tier firms.
• Strong financial and commercial awareness.
• Strong technical skills and ability to adapt to new areas.
• Effective communicator with emotional intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing joint venture and co-investment agreements and ancillary transactional documents.
• Providing support to business teams in negotiations from analysis to execution.
• Coordinating with external legal advisors.
• Preparing/revising internal templates and knowledge management documents; managing documents.
• Assisting with general corporate governance for the Fever group.
• Participating in ongoing compliance functions.
• Upskilling and supporting the growth of other team members.

Legal Counsel (Strategic Transaction / M&A)

We are seeking an attorney looking to bring legal and business acumen to the negotiation and closing of high-priority complex commercial ventures to help to build next-generation experiences across the globe. As a member of the legal team, you will work within the Corporate / M&A team , reporting directly to the Lead Counsel. This is a role that will require autonomy, attention to detail and drive. You will familiarise yourself closely with Fever's mission and vision, structure, strategy, and objectives, and advise on a variety of corporate transactions, particularly joint ventures and co-investments, to support the growth of the business, all within a company that is both scaling up and expanding internationally.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team that is a cornerstone to the effective realization of key projects of Fever, working directly with business dealmakers, to bring them to fruition and ensure alignment with Fever's overall strategy and risk appetite. You will be required to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members within the legal department and across the Fever business. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple jurisdictions, with ownership of projects assigned to you.

What You'll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting and reviewing joint venture and co-investment agreements and ancillary transactional documents
• Providing support to business teams and Management in their negotiations, from the initial analysis to the execution of any transaction
• Coordinating and prioritizing work with external legal advisors
• Preparing / revising internal templates, guides, and similar knowledge management documents, and taking responsibility for document management
• Assisting with general corporate governance for the entire Fever group
• Participating in ongoing compliance functions as required
• Participate in the upskilling, support and growth of other team members

Who You Are

In order to be successful in this role, you will

• Be a barred / practising lawyer (corporate or law firm) with at least 4 years PQE in corporate transactions, including complex partnerships (M&A experience or experience in media / entertainment also a plus)
• Speak fluent English, with a command of legal English, and preferably with fluency in Spanish
• Have an excellent academic record or experience in top-notch companies or top-tier law-firms
• Have keen attention to detail and strong financial and commercial awareness
• Possess strong technical skills and enjoy stepping into new territory with your work
• Be an effective communicator who brings emotional intelligence to work
