Un proveedor líder de servicios de viaje busca un abogado senior para liderar asuntos legales comerciales en Europa. El candidato ideal tiene entre 8 y 10 años de experiencia, habilidades en comunicación en inglés y español, y un título de abogado. Este papel implica trabajar con equipos comerciales y asesorar sobre riesgos legales, contribuyendo al crecimiento en el sector de viajes. Se valoran fuertes habilidades interpersonales y capacidad para equilibrar riesgos legales con objetivos comerciales.

Formación

• Mínimo 8 a 10 años de práctica en un bufete de abogados o como abogado interno con experiencia en derecho comercial.
• Nivel de inglés y español a nivel de negocios.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar todos los asuntos legales comerciales en Europa.
• Identificar y asesorar sobre riesgos legales en las áreas de responsabilidad.
• Coordinar asesores legales externos donde se requiera experiencia especializada.

The role forms a key part of the Legal & GRC team that plays a paramount role in managing and advising on risk and legal liability, forming an important part along with finance, tax, HR and other functions to support the business to ensure we achieve the strong growth plans in the Europe Region.

Leading all Commercial Legal matters in Europe or a specific European Region, for all business units, by interacting directly with internal stakeholders (i.e. Legal & GRC team members, commercial teams, tax, finance, etc.) Identifying, monitoring and advising upon legal risks within the areas of responsibility and acting as Legal lead for Strategic Projects across Europe, ensuring effective development of those Projects.

Coordinate and oversee external legal advisors in jurisdictions where specialized expertise is required or where no in-house legal counsel is available, ensuring efficient legal support and alignment with business objectives.

Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives

Minimum 8 - 10 years practice either in a Law Firm OR as an in-house legal counsel with commercial law practice.

A law degree from a reputable institution.

Business level of proficiency in English and Spanish.

Maintain the balance between Legal requirements and business objectives.
