GE Vernova GridBeats is seeking a Senior Product Systems Architect to shape the architecture of a digital monitoring platform for substations. Lead architecture and system-level definitions, coordinating engineering teams and partners to translate customer needs into feasible solutions.

You will drive edge-to-cloud design, secure communication, and data pipelines, with a focus on standards like IEC 61850 and DNP3, enabling scalable, multi-tenant cloud deployments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, CS, or related field.
• Strong experience in architecture for industrial or energy applications.
• Experience defining systems that combine hardware, software, communications and data processing.
• Proven leadership coordinating across cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English, strong communication of architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the architecture of the substation monitoring platform across hardware, software, and data layers.
• Translate customer and product needs into system capabilities and interfaces.
• Act as the technical bridge between product management, domain SME, engineering teams, suppliers and customers.
• Create and maintain architecture and interface documentation for engineering.
• Lead technical product discovery, feasibility studies, and architecture trade-offs.
• Develop a platform strategy to support AI/analytics and evolving grid needs.
• Design edge-to-cloud integration with secure communication and scalable data pipelines.
• Align system design with IEC 61850, IEEE C37, DNP3, MODBUS for secure operation.
• Coordinate make–buy–partner decisions and integration of suppliers and technologies.
