Lupus Consulting Zrt. is seeking a Lead SAP Consultant to steer the SAP consulting team and ensure high-quality delivery across SAP implementation, transformation, and enhancement projects.

Formación

• Several years of experience as SAP Consultant, including senior/lead roles.
• Strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules such as MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM.
• Proven experience leading SAP teams and/or workstreams.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

The Lead SAP Consultant is responsible for leading the SAP consulting team and ensuring high-quality delivery across SAP implementation, transformation, and enhancement projects. The role combines strong hands-on SAP consulting expertise with team leadership, project delivery responsibility, and client advisory.

The position requires solid knowledge of SAP logistics processes and modules, such as MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, with the ability to lead end-to-end SAP solutions and guide the team in delivering business-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of SAP consultants.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Monitor team performance, workload, and delivery quality.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of SAP consultants.
• Act as the first escalation point for team and delivery-related topics.

SAP Consulting & Delivery

• Act as a senior SAP functional expert with strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules and processes.
• Lead SAP workstreams and ensure successful delivery of scope, timeline, quality, and budget.
• Review and guide solution designs, functional deliverables, and SAP best-practice adoption.
• Support requirements analysis, process design, testing, go-live, and issue resolution.
• Ensure effective integration across SAP logistics and related functional areas.
• Identify and manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies.

Capacity & Project Planning

• Plan team capacity, workload, and resource allocation across SAP projects.
• Support project estimations, staffing, and forecasting.
• Review and validate effort and man-day estimations.
• Ensure appropriate allocation of consultants according to skills and project requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a senior advisor to clients and key stakeholders.
• Lead workshops and support business and solution discussions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and escalations to management and clients.
• Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders.

Quality & Methodology

• Ensure high delivery and consulting quality across the team.
• Promote SAP best practices and ensure compliance with SAP Activate or relevant project methodologies.
• Support continuous improvement of SAP delivery processes and ways of working.

Required Experience

• Several years of experience as an SAP Consultant, including experience in a senior or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP logistics modules, ideally with expertise in one or more of MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM.
• Proven experience leading SAP teams and/or workstreams.
• Experience in SAP implementation, rollout, transformation, or enhancement projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.
