Transocean Ltd is seeking a Chief Mechanic for offshore maintenance duties on our drilling assets. The role covers preventive rounds, early notification of corrective tasks, and documentation in CMMS, with emphasis on rig floor hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating and lifting equipment.

The ideal candidate will read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot complex systems, maintain spares, and lead safety practices in line with company standards and risk controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Offshore mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance rounds on rig equipment.
• Document tasks in the CMMS per company policy.
• Supervise mechanical activities on the rig floor hydraulics and lifting systems.
• Contribute to safety and operational discipline meetings.
