SoftServe está buscando un Lead Java Developer para liderar la parte técnica de soluciones en Barcelona. Coordinarás el desarrollo, guiarás al equipo técnico y colaborarás con el Product Owner para priorizar requisitos y backlog.

El candidato ideal debe demostrar experiencia con Java 17+, Spring, bases de datos, pruebas y herramientas de observabilidad, así como habilidades de comunicación en inglés y español. Posibilidad de viajes de negocio y trabajo cercano con el cliente.

Formación

• Desarrollar aplicaciones con lógica de negocio compleja.
• Dominio de Java 17+, Maven y Spring (IoC, MVC, Data, Security, Spring Boot).
• Conocimiento de JPA, Hibernate y bases de datos MariaDB/PostgreSQL y MongoDB.
• Herramientas de pruebas como JUnit y JMeter; cobertura con JaCoCo y pruebas de mutación.
• Control de versiones con Git.
• Kafka, Avro y Schema Registry.
• Enfoque API-first con OpenAPI.
• Monitoreo y seguridad con Grafana, SonarQ y Snyk.
• Experiencia con OpenShift y Docker.
• Autenticación y autorización: OAuth y RBAC/ABAC.
• Arquitectura hexagonal.
• Redis, gRPC y Argo CD.
• Buena comunicación y presentaciones; inglés alto; español fluido.

Responsabilidades

• Supervisar aspectos técnicos del producto e impulsar iniciativas estratégicas.
• Liderar y gestionar el equipo de desarrollo técnico, como autoridad técnica principal.
• Colaborar con el Product Owner para definir y priorizar el backlog técnico y requisitos.
• Garantizar la excelencia técnica y el éxito de las soluciones entregadas.
• Participar en la codificación para resolver incidencias complejas.
• Actuar como experto en arquitectura tecnológica y su desarrollo.
• Asegurar que la solución siga la arquitectura establecida y se actualice.
• Monitorear rendimiento en producción y resolver incidencias.
• Facilitar procesos de entrega continua con pruebas unitarias, funcionales y de regresión.
• Dar soporte técnico y guiar para alinear con la arquitectura general.
• Ayudar a desplegar funcionalidades en diferentes entornos.
• Gestionar deuda técnica y priorizarla en ciclos de desarrollo.
• Trabajar con arquitectura orientada a servicios en soluciones complejas.
• Colaborar estrechamente con el cliente e participantes en viajes de negocio.
• Fomentar buenas prácticas y mentorar al equipo para resultados de alta calidad.
• Identificar obstáculos técnicos y promover mejora continua.

About the role

Our client is a top fashion retailer in the world, selling in more than 200 markets online and in over 90 markets offline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of the product and drive strategic initiatives to enhance the solution over time
• Lead and manage the technical development team, serving as the primary technical authority
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to define and prioritize the technical aspects of the product backlog and requirements
• Ensure technical excellence and success of delivered solutions
• Engage in hands-on coding to address complex issues within the system under development
• Act as a primary expert on technological architecture, contributing to its continuous development and enhancement
• Ensure the solution adheres to the established architecture and is consistently updated to the latest versions
• Monitor and ensure smooth application performance in the production environment, proactively resolving user-reported incidents
• Facilitate continuous deployment processes, adhering to rigorous testing protocols including unit, functional, and regression tests
• Provide technical support and guidance to align with the overarching architecture
• Assist in deploying functionalities across various environments
• Manage technical debt and drive its prioritization within development cycles
• Work with service-oriented architecture and develop complex business solutions
• Collaborate closely with the customer, including participating in business trips
• Advocate for and mentor team members on best practices to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Identify and eliminate technical obstacles, fostering an environment of continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proficient in developing applications with complex business logic
• Experienced with Java 17+, Maven, and Spring frameworks (IoC, MVC, Data, Security, Spring Boot)
• Knowledgeable in JPA, Hibernate, and databases such as MariaDB/PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Skilled with testing tools like JUnit, JMeter, SpringTest, and code coverage tools (JaCoCo, Mutation Tests)
• Competent in version control using Git
• Versed in Kafka, Avro, and Schema Registry
• Following an API-first approach using OpenAPI
• Familiar with monitoring and security tools like Grafana, SonarQ, and Snyk
• Experienced with OLAP systems and containerization tools such as OpenShift and Docker
• Knowledgeable about authentication and authorization methods, including OAuth and RBAC/ABAC
• Applying principles of hexagonal architecture
• Familiar with Redis, gRPC, and Argo CD
• Equipped with strong communication and presentation skills
• Effective in conveying concepts and guidelines to development teams and stakeholders
• Fluent in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
• Fluent in Spanish for daily communication with the client and stakeholders
