Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Testing Engineer for its Maneja site in India. You will lead high‑voltage test activities, validate performance, and support new product development while ensuring safety and quality across the test plant.

You will coordinate with production, stores, and planning teams, perform calibrations, and ensure adherence to IEC standards. Fluency in English and Hindi is required, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise routine testing of high-voltage circuit breakers.
• Manage test plant operations to meet BU targets while ensuring quality.
• Support in new product development, testing validation and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate customer inspections and handle technical queries.
• Maintain test plant equipment and perform calibration activities.
• Ensure safety and compliance with applicable standards.
• Address quality issues and implement CAPAs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, stores, planning).
• Adhere to 5S and KAIZEN practices.
