Schneider Electric's Embedded Linux team in Barcelona is seeking a Yocto/Embedded Linux Developer to design, evolve, and industrialize a scalable Linux distribution across ARM and x86 platforms. This hands-on role blends low-level Linux, automation, and strong engineering practices.

You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen CI/CD, validate BSPs, and maintain automated tests, including LAVA-based validation. International travel to France and a Barcelona office presence are required.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Embedded Linux / Yocto development and C.
• Proven expertise in Yocto Project, BSP integration, and Linux build systems.
• Solid understanding of ARM and x86 architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Shell scripting, and Python.
• A strong engineering mindset with a focus on automation and quality.
• Comfort working in an international, multicultural environment.
• Availability to travel to France 1 week per month initially.
• 3 days from the office in Barcelona are required.

Join Schneider Electric’s Intelligent Edge teams and play a key role in shaping the embedded Linux foundation behind next‑generation industrial and IoT solutions deployed at global scale.

We are looking for a Yocto / Embedded Linux Developer to help design, evolve, and industrialize a high‑impact embedded Linux distribution, running on a wide range of hardware platforms and used across Schneider Electric products worldwide.

This is a hands‑on technical role on a strategic software platform, combining low‑level Linux expertise, automation, and strong engineering practices.
