ENGIE España is seeking a Data & AI Engineering Lead in Madrid to architect, build and evolve the operational data perimeter supporting Energy Trading. You will design scalable ETL pipelines, data models, analytics platforms, and dashboards using AWS technologies, while championing AI‑driven approaches to improve decision‑making and efficiency.

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Step Functions).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and analytics.
• Experience building dashboards using Power BI, QuickSight, Grafana, or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Own and lead the design and development of the Energy Trading data platform and operational data perimeter while mentoring data engineers, analysts, and developers.
• Design and manage cloud-native data architectures and infrastructure, using IaC to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.
• Build and optimize AWS-based data pipelines and architectures with data governance and security across the lifecycle.
• Develop data models, curated datasets, dashboards, and analytics solutions for Trading, Risk, and Operations.
• Drive adoption of AI/ML solutions for forecasting, automation, optimization, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Oversee reliability, availability, and performance of the cloud data platform.
