Arup seeks a senior CFD Consultant in Madrid to lead complex smoke dispersion studies for tunnel ventilation and transport infrastructure. You will manage projects end-to-end, mentor engineers, and coordinate with Arup offices worldwide to advance modelling methodologies and automation tools.

Applicants should have 5+ years in CFD for fire engineering, with FDS/PyroSim, OpenFOAM, Python scripting, and Linux expertise, plus fluent English and Spanish.

• 5+ years of CFD experience in fire engineering and smoke studies.
• Proficient in FDS/PyroSim and CFD modelling.
• Experience with tunnel ventilation and smoke dispersion analyses.
• Strong English and Spanish communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex CFD studies from proposal to reporting.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with global offices.
• Develop and improve CFD methodologies and workflows.
• Contribute to R&D initiatives and tool automation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
