A global elevator solutions provider is looking for a Lead Application Engineering Manager to join their team in Madrid. In this role, you will manage the technical drawing area, oversee the Application Engineering team, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of customized technical drawings. Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (preferably with a specialization in Mechanics).
• Experience in industrial design within the elevator/lift industry.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the technical drawing area for adapting elevator drawings.
• Oversee activities and performance of the Application Engineering team.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical drawings based on customer specifications.
• Collaborate with Area Management on priorities and workflows.
• Contribute to drawing adaptation while maintaining technical expertise.
• Identify and communicate recurring drawing adaptation issues.

Wittur is looking for an

Lead Application Engineering Manager

to join the Application Engineering team of our Spain plant company, based in Zaragoza.

Job mission and objectives

Manage and plan the technical drawing area responsible for

adapting standard elevator drawings

to meet specific customer requirements. Coordinate the Application Engineering team within the AE department, providing support to the Area Management, while also actively participating in technical drawing tasks. Although this role belongs to Application Engineering, it reports directly to the R&D Manager in Spain.

Main tasks of the role will include :

• Plan and oversee the adaptation needs of standard elevator drawings based on customer-specific orders.
• Coordinate the daily activities and performance of the Application Engineering team, providing guidance and support aligned with departmental goals.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of technical drawings customized to project specifications.
• Collaborate closely with the Area Management to align priorities and report on key incidents or workflow blockers.
• Actively contribute to drawing adaptation work when required, maintaining technical involvement and expertise.
• Identify recurring issues in drawing adaptation and communicate them to the management for resolution or process improvement.

Experience & Skills

• Degree in Industrial Engineering (technical or higher), preferably with a specialization in Mechanics.
• Experience in industrial design within the elevator / lift industry.

Spanish and English C1. Plus : German
