ALTEN Delivery Centre Spain is seeking a Landing Gear Systems Engineer to support development, verification, and certification of aircraft mechanical systems in an international project setting.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage requirements traceability, review test results, and contribute to airworthiness activities under aerospace regulations. Strong English and prior landing gear experience are preferred.

Formación

• Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in systems engineering within aerospace.
• Familiarity with DOORS and certification processes.
• Strong English communication and documentational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain system requirements, specifications, and traceability.
• Support verification and validation activities for Landing Gear and related mechanical systems.
• Review and analyze test plans, procedures, results, and compliance evidence.
• Prepare technical documentation, including verification, qualification, and certification reports.
• Support requirements compliance assessments and change management activities.
• Collaborate with design, testing, safety, and certification teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Review engineering drawings, technical documentation, and CAD models.
• Contribute to certification and airworthiness activities in accordance with aerospace regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in Systems Engineering within the aerospace industry.
• Knowledge of requirements management, verification, and validation processes.
• Experience with technical documentation, compliance, and certification activities.
• Ability to analyze test results and assess compliance against requirements.
• Experience working with mechanical aircraft systems; Landing Gear experience is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or equivalent.
• Knowledge of aerospace standards, certification processes, and airworthiness requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional level of English.
