Job summary

Pasiona Consulting Sl busca un tester de QA para colaborar con el equipo, entender requisitos y diseñar pruebas. Se elaborarán casos, datos y procedimientos, ejecutando pruebas manuales y exploratorias para detectar defectos y verificar arreglos.

Se apoyará en pruebas de regresión y se participará en la mejora continua, integración con automatización y herramientas de IA, manteniendo estándares de calidad y procesos ágiles.

Qualifications

• Formación universitaria en informática o IT.
• Conocimientos sólidos de pruebas de software y metodologías.
• Experiencia con bases de datos SQL/NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Colaborar con QA para entender requisitos y criterios de aceptación.
• Crear y mantener casos de prueba, datos y procedimientos.
• Ejecutar pruebas manuales y exploratorias para identificar defectos.
• Realizar pruebas de regresión básicas y verificar corrección de errores.
• Apoyar automatización de pruebas desarrollando scripts básicos bajo supervisión.
• Registrar y gestionar defectos con herramientas de seguimiento.
• Documentar procesos de prueba y métricas de calidad.
• Participar en ceremonias Agile/Scrum.
• Utilizar herramientas de IA para pruebas bajo guía del personal sénior.
• Colaborar con desarrolladores y QA para mejorar procesos.

• Collaborate with the QA team to understand testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and testing procedures based on provided specifications.
• Execute manual and exploratory testing to identify defects, uncover hidden issues, and verify bug fixes.
• Conduct basic regression testing to ensure recent software changes do not introduce new issues.
• Support test automation efforts by developing and maintaining basic test scripts under supervision.
• Log, track, and manage defects using issue-tracking tools, providing clear and concise defect reports.
• Document testing processes, execution results, quality metrics, and organizational testing standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning) to align with project goals.
• Leverage AI and GenAI testing tools and methodologies under the guidance of senior staff.
• Collaborate with developers and QA peers to continuously refine testing processes and share knowledge.

Requisitos mínimos

• Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing/IT roles, or relevant internship experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or ongoing relevant IT/QA studies).
• Technical Skills:
• Solid understanding of core software testing concepts, methodologies, and procedures.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Core Competencies:
• Strong defect identification, tracking, and technical reporting skills.
• Team player with good communication skills for agile cross-functional collaboration.
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to adopt new testing tools and frameworks.

Requisitos valorables

• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI).
• Relevant QA or IT professional certifications.
• Practical exposure to or interest in AI-assisted testing methodologies.
