PassFort is looking for a Junior Legal Counsel to support its commercial and operational activities in Barcelona, Spain. This role involves day-to-day commercial legal work, where you will manage matters end-to-end while providing legal support for innovative space projects.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Spanish law and experience with commercial contracts, working alongside General Counsel and various teams to deliver pragmatic legal advice. Full proficiency in English and Spanish is required, along with an interest in the space sector.

• Practitioner-level expertise in Spanish law.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Supporting commercial transactions with appropriate supervision.

• Managing assigned legal matters independently.
• Working closely with teams across the business for legal advice.
• Translating legal concepts into actionable guidance.

What You’ll be doing

The focus of the role is day‑to‑day commercial legal work, while also contributing to more complex and innovative projects in the space sector.

Working closely with the General Counsel, you’ll manage your own matters end‑to‑end, collaborating with teams across the business to deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice.

You’ll Be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including NDAs, procurement contracts and customer agreements

• Supporting commercial transactions with appropriate supervision

• Providing legal support on complex space‑related projects and transactions

• Managing assigned legal matters independently while escalating risks when needed

• Working closely with teams across the business — including Revenue, Procurement and Supply Chain — to provide pragmatic legal advice

• Translating legal concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non‑legal stakeholders
