T-Systems Iberia seeks a software engineer to drive documentation and mapping of approx. 8,000 central offices, enabling better energy and space management and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to design and own features, ensure security, and integrate with partner systems using Python, Angular, Kotlin/Java and Postgres. The role offers agile work, hybrid options, and learning opportunities through Coursera and language classes.

Formación

• Proficiency with Python, Angular, Kotlin/Java and Postgres.
• Experience with GitLab, JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong background in frontend and backend development.

Job Description

Main driver for this service is reach a consistent state of documentation, where we will have sufficiently mapped all devices within approx. 8.000 central offices ("Betriebsstelle"). With this mapping we shall achieve much improved cost efficiency within our energy and space management. This will directly benefit the central overview about technical equipment rack-slots including documentation of technology and energy supplies. This is a critical pillar for an overall energy management strategy and therefore contributing to the corporate objectives for Carbondioxide emission reduction.

It Is The Main Enabler For

• Transparent Space Utilization, Energy Consumption and Energy planning.
• Manage the technical places.
• Localization of undocumented legacy systems.
• Python, Angular, Kotlin/Java, Postgres.
• GitLab, JIRA, Confluence, Tardis.

Activity Description And Concrete Tasks

• Collaborate with the product owner and the cross-functional team to execute engineering challenges.
• Contribute to the product architecture to ensure seamless development of new product features.
• Take the technical ownership for product components and enhance and maintain these. Design and develop new features.
• Automated tests, code reviews and documentation ensure high quality of your software artefacts.
• Integrate your software with partner systems, often requiring from you to learn new technologies.
• Ensure that the product is always compliant to security requirements and uses state-of-the-art technologies.
• Work in an agile and team context.

Qualifications

Must to have skills

• Python, Angular, Kotlin/Java, Postgres.
• GitLab, JIRA, Confluence.
• Experience in frontend development / Design.
• Experience in Backend development.
