A leading renewable energy company in Sarriguren seeks a candidate with a degree in Control, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering for software development roles related to wind farm control systems. No experience is required, but knowledge of PLC programming and a B2 level in English are mandatory. This role involves designing control requirements, validating software, and leading developments, providing an opportunity to contribute to sustainable energy solutions.

• Software development of the Nordex Acciona wind farm controller.
• Software validation in the laboratory and in the field.
• Control performance optimization.
• Lead complex developments.
• Develop and optimize communication interfaces.
• Provide third level support for the Nordex Acciona wind farm fleet.

YOUR TASKS

• Functional definition of wind farm control requirements.
• Software development of the Nordex Acciona wind farm controller.
• Software validation in the laboratory and also in the field (remotely).
• Control performance optimization.
• PLC programming IEC61131-3 and Matlab/Simulink.
• Lead complex developments.
• Communication interfaces development and optimization.
• Close cooperation with stakeholders (Control and Grid code team, laboratory test team)
• Third level support for the Nordex Acciona wind farm fleet.

YOUR PROFILE

• Degree in Control, Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
• You have a self-responsible, structured, customer-and solution-oriented working mindset.
• Intercultural understanding, and you thrive on working collaboratively with teams across functions and geographies.
• You are proactive, assertive and a team player.
• English B2 or higher. German language skills is a plus.
• No experience is required.
• Availability to travel.
