Job summary

Ogilvy in Barcelona seeks a Junior Account Executive PR to join our Corporate PR team. The role is based in Barcelona, Spain, within the Public Relations department. A journalism degree obtained in Spain is required, and a strong team spirit, initiative, and a desire to learn are essential.

No prior work experience is required, with potential for internship conversion. English is a plus and Spanish is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Communication plans: Support the development and implementation of communication plans for different clients and brands.
• Press office: Assist in drafting, adapting and distributing press releases, media invitations and other communication materials.
• Media relations: Support the management of relationships with journalists and media outlets, identifying news opportunities to increase media coverage.
• News monitoring: Monitor news and trends relevant to clients, identifying communication opportunities and potential topics of interest to the media.
• Events and communication activities: Take part in the organisation and execution of events, presentations and other PR initiatives.
• Reporting and analysis: Help track media coverage, compile media mentions and prepare performance reports.
• Project coordination: Support the day-to-day management of projects, coordinate with suppliers and follow up on communication activities.
• Other tasks: Liaise with suppliers, prepare reports, analyse results and carry out other related duties.
