GE Vernova is seeking a ROC Technical Lead for Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona, Spain. You will monitor turbine performance, diagnose issues remotely, and support commissioning and service activities to ensure reliable turbine operation throughout their lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a engineering degree and hands-on wind turbine experience, with proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using SCADA systems.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent wind energy experience.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting and field support situations.
• Experience with SCADA systems and other digital monitoring tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical communication, calm structured approach under pressure, and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
• Availability to travel up to 20% of the time, if required.
• Fluent English (spoken and written), willingness to relocate to Barcelona and EU work eligibility.

About the role

As a ROC Technical Lead, you support the safe and efficient operation of advanced offshore wind assets from a remote operations center. You play a key role across both commissioning and service phases, helping ensure turbines perform reliably throughout their lifecycle.

You work closely with site teams and engineering experts to detect, analyze, and resolve technical issues, ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

What you bring

Ways of working

You work on a rotating weekday shift schedule (Monday to Friday), covering morning and afternoon shifts.

You also take part in an on-call rotation for occasional weekend and public holiday support.
