A leading technology company based in Madrid seeks a Service Account Engineer and Field Operation Coordinator. The role involves maintaining customer relationships and managing after-sales services while coordinating projects between technical teams and clients. Candidates should have at least 6 years of relevant experience in engineering fields, excellent communication skills in Spanish, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Formación

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in electronic, automotive, railway, or oil&gas industry.
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English preferred.
  • Knowledge of calibration & system tuning, digital electronics, and statistical data analysis.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage field activities including logistics and team coordination.
  • Ensure continuous interaction with customers and project teams.
  • Provide technical advisory and support throughout the project duration.

Position Mission

The Service Account Engineer and Field Operation Coordinator (Jefe de Servicio) is responsible for maintaining the relationship with customers and managing them for all the after‑sales services. The resource has the task to understand the needs of the customers and guide them towards the optimal solution, satisfying their needs and seals actions of improvement of our products / services. The resource will support and coordinate the employees and sub‑suppliers that will intervene on site (both local and from Italy) on the assigned projects. The resource is responsible for creating value for customers in the form of services, advice, satisfaction and not only those.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, together the project team, all the to the field activities, included the logistic issues.
  • General Management Activities, continuous interaction with customer and company’s employees involved in the project.
  • Coordinate and Support Engineering, Supply Chain, After Sales and other during the project
  • On-field Customer Interface during project duration
  • On Field Customer interface and company interface during project duration
  • Management and control, trough the dedicated members of team coordinated, of spare parts, tools on field.
  • Planning and Tracking of the necessary activities to perform under the contract
  • Suggesting improvement in product and process, if any, at 360°
  • Knowledge of Calibration & System Tuning
  • Diagnosis, Investigation and Problem Solving

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience
  • Strong Technical background in Electronics / Computer science / Informatics / Mechanical engineering.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience (working experience in electronic, automotive, railway or oil&gas industry).
  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English (preferrable), strong communication skills.
  • Organized, result oriented, pressure tolerating and reliable with continuous improvement and problem solving- attitude
  • Knowledge of digital electronics, signal analysis and processing, metrology, statistical data analysis.
  • Knowledge of electronic devices, with at least two years of working experience in electronic, automotive, railway, telecommunication or oil&gas industry.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS.
  • Preferrable knowledge of LabVIEW / Matlab, CAD software, SAP software.
  • Capability of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Use and knowledge of basic tools.
  • Use of test equipment like oscilloscope, signal generator, multimeter.
  • Knowledge of main communication protocol.
  • Railway geography, system, and track structure knowledge (preferably).
  • Ability to organize and coordinate team members (technicians and operator) to execute the service.
  • Availability to travel 30% of time, autonomously in the assigned country.
  • Willingness to be based in Madrid.
