Nexthink is leading in digital employee experience management software, offering a 6-month internship in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will join one of our engineering teams to learn, contribute, and grow as you work on Java-based solutions with modern tech like microservices and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in agile ceremonies, and help with documentation and best practices, with a focus on continuous learning and knowledge expansion.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Telecommunications Engineering or related field; Master's degree in progress or recently completed.
• Knowledge and practice of SOLID principles.
• Agile thinker and able to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of Java, microservices, Kubernetes and distributed systems; Kafka a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
• Excellent communication skills (English mandatory).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Assisting in the development and testing of Java-based software solutions.

• Participating in agile development processes and team meetings.
• Participating in code reviews and software maintenance.
• Learning and applying software development best practices and coding standards.
• Contributing to the documentation of features developed.
• Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance your knowledge in the various technologies used by the team.

Qualifications

You would be an ideal candidate if you are/have:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field, and you are currently pursuing or has recently completed a Master's degree in the same or a closely related area.
• Knowledge and practice of the SOLID principles.
• Agile thinker and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Java, microservices, Kubernetes and distribute systems(Kafka is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skills.
• Great problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (English is mandatory).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment.
