Responsabilidades

• Участвовать в миграции приложений с Java 8 на новые версии.
• Разрабатывать, исправлять и рефакторить код под новые версии JVM.
• Обеспечивать совместимость компонентов и временное сосуществование версий.
• Проектировать и поддерживать архитектуру сборки монорепозитория (Maven/Gradle).
• Руководить миграцией Tomcat 8→9→10 и сотрудничать с Platform-командами.
• Поддерживать переход на Jakarta EE и работать с QA.

SII Group Spain delivers digital, IT, and engineering services and solutions across various industries, combining software development expertise with manufacturing, systems, mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems engineering capabilities.

Задачи:

• Participate in the progressive migration of applications from Java 8 to Java 25;
• Develop, fix, and refactor code to ensure compatibility with new JVM versions;
• Identify and resolve incompatibilities caused by the evolution of the Java language and platform;
• Ensure temporary coexistence between Java 8 components and newer versions;
• Design and maintain the monorepository build architecture using Maven and Gradle;
• Manage cross-cutting dependencies, compilation scopes, and build process and pipeline optimization;
• Technically lead the migration from Tomcat 8 to Tomcat 9 and Tomcat 10;
• Collaborate with Platform teams to align infrastructure and runtime environments;
• Support the transition to Jakarta EE and resolve related incompatibilities;
• Define the validation and regression prevention strategy with QA;
• Participate in test automation and incident resolution during testing campaigns.

• Extensive experience as a Java developer and in technology migration projects;
• Advanced proficiency in Java 8, 17, 21, and 25;
• Solid experience with Maven, Gradle, and Spring Boot;
• Excellent knowledge of JVM internals and version compatibility issues;
• Experience with multi-module architectures and complex monorepositories;
• Extensive experience with Tomcat, especially migrations between versions 8, 9, and 10;
• Experience working in CI/CD environments;
• Analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to coordinate across technical teams.
