Descripción de la vacante

Alten Delivery Centre Spain busca un Desarrollador Java Senior para un proyecto cloud-native en un entorno empresarial complejo. Trabajará con Java 21, Spring Boot y microservicios, en un equipo internacional.

Se requiere al menos 5 años de experiencia, nivel B2 de alemán y experiencia en PostgreSQL, OpenAPI/Swagger y CI/CD. Hay posibilidad de teletrabajo parcial y desarrollo profesional continuo.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• B2 level in German.
• Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and API design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Foundry.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Understanding of REST/OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).

Responsabilidades

• Desarrollar y mantener servicios backend con Java 21 y Spring Boot.
• Crear REST APIs y trabajar con PostgreSQL para datos escalables.
• Asegurar operación estable y segura en entornos Cloud Foundry.
• Gestionar incidentes, RCA y hotfixes.
• Monitoreo y logging con Splunk.
• Gestión de vulnerabilidades y lifecycle de certificados/secret.
• Apoyar pipelines CI/CD y herramientas operativas.
• Contribuir a refactorización y reducción de deuda técnica.
• Apoyar migraciones (bases de datos, sistemas).
• Mantener y apoyar componentes Databricks y servicios de datos.
• Aplicar Clean Code y principios SOLID en microservicios.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 21 and Spring Boot in enterprise environments.
• Build and maintain REST APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger) and work with PostgreSQL for scalable data solutions.
• Ensure stable and secure operation of systems in Cloud Foundry environments.
• Handle incident management, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution, including hotfixes when required.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging using Splunk to ensure system reliability.
• Perform vulnerability management, security updates, and certificate/secret lifecycle management.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automation jobs, and operational tooling improvements.
• Contribute to code refactoring, technical debt reduction, and minor feature enhancements.
• Support migration activities (e.g., database upgrades or system migrations).
• Maintain and support existing Databricks components and data-related services.
• Apply Clean Code and SOLID principles, working in distributed and microservices architectures.

Requirements:

Must Have Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• At least B2 German level
• Strong experience with Java 21
• Solid experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with unit and integration testing
• Experience working with Cloud Foundry (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)
• Experience in maintenance and production-close environments (incident handling, hotfixes, RCA)
• Understanding of API design (REST, OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have:

• Frontend experience with Angular 17+ / TypeScript
• Experience with Kafka or IBM MQ
• Experience with SonarQube and code quality tools
• Experience with Hexagonal Architecture
• Experience with Splunk (monitoring / logging)
• Experience in migration projects (e.g., legacy system modernization)
