Qaracter is seeking a Java / C++ Developer to join a technology team working on financial risk solutions. You will combine Java development with C++ debugging, helping ensure reliability, performance, and security of risk applications.

Join a multinational environment where developers tackle complex calculations, investigate incidents, and contribute to targeted developments using Java, C++, Linux, and AI-assisted tools such as Devin. English at least B2 is valued.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java.
• Experience with C++, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux environments.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving across Java and C++.
• Knowledge or experience in Market Risk or financial risk systems.
• Ability to investigate application behavior through logs and traces.
• Comfortable with development and maintenance tasks.
• English level B2 or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Java applications, implementing targeted developments and addressing vulnerabilities.
• Debug and analyze C++ engine traces to investigate discrepancies and technical errors.
• Perform small-scale developments and adjustments in C++ when required.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across Java and C++ components.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate throughout the lifecycle.
• Work in Linux environments, performing basic administration and support tasks.
• Investigate technical incidents and identify root causes of errors.
• Apply Market Risk concepts to understand business and technical requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, discussions, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Work with AI-powered tools like Devin to support development.
