CoastAL Restaurant offers a fresh, classic coastal fare featuring chef-inspired dishes, local seafood, seasonal favorites, and indulgent desserts. From quick bites on the beach to romantic dinners with spectacular views, CoastAL’s indoor and outdoor seating provides the best of both worlds.

The restaurant is seeking passionate, enthusiastic, dynamic, and proactive aspiring chefs worldwide who wish to gain a unique professional and cultural experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform food preparations, cooking, and cleaning tasks to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Complete all tasks on the prep list from the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Prepare food items daily in assigned outlets and other kitchen areas.
• Provide clean, sanitized dishes to the dining room and kitchen stations, maintaining dishwashing equipment and supplies.
• Assist kitchen staff in producing menu items to ensure high performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Estimated Monthly Budget

• Projected monthly income: $2,400 (Hourly wage: $15)
• Housing costs: $600/month
• Meals provided during working hours

J1 Visa Program

This traineeship is part of a J1 visa program designed for young professionals or recent graduates to advance their careers, gain work experience, and enhance skills through cultural exchange.

The total cost for the J1 Visa process and application fees is $1,870, broken down as follows:

• First payment upon signing: $420 (non-refundable)
• Final payment upon visa approval: $1,450 (includes $650 for mandatory health insurance)

Disclaimer: The first month’s housing must be paid in advance. The employer does not cover airfare costs, which vary based on departure city.
