IT Support Specialist – High Level of English – Based in MadridOur client, a leading biotechnology company headquartered in Madrid, is seeking a highly motivated and people-oriented IT Support Specialist to join their local team.This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a foundational to intermediate understanding of Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD), Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.The selected candidate will act as a key point of contact for IT user support, resolving technical issues efficiently and with a strong customer service approach. A high level of English (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves supporting users across different regions.
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and account-related issues.
Assist with account provisioning, access control, group management, and password-related tasks using Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Microsoft Entra ID.
Support users in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Communicate clearly and empathetically with users to resolve IT concerns.
Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff or external vendors.
Contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes from an IT perspective.
Provide both remote and onsite user support as needed.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High level of English (spoken and written); Spanish fluency is also required.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Active Directory (user/group management, MFA, conditional access).
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and user support.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
Basic understanding of security practices and access management.
Previous experience in a technical support role in an international or bilingual environment.
