At Kapres Technology we are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join one of our clients a leading multinational company in the logistics sector. This is a remote position within Europe.
IT or Logistics related degree
2 / 3 years in an IT Business Analyst role within a logistics / supply chain organization
Demonstrable analytical skills
Significant knowledge and understanding of the logistics / supply chain industry and associated IT systems (such as WMS TMS OMS etc)
Capability to undertake the IT Project Manager role for small projects
Capability to take the lead BA role on large size projects often with high-profile international Blue chip clients
Comfortable in operating in a wide range of business sectors such as Healthcare Automotives Technology E-Commerce Retail Food etc.
Knowledge of SQL diagramming tools and testing software
Take a lead role in workshops working with internal and external key stakeholders to identify and document requirements to define the agreed scope of the project subject to the sign-off of all parties.
To act as consultant co-ordinator and liaison between the various parties in the development / configuration build stage of the solution working to ensure fitness for purpose.
Prepare test plans and conduct Systems Integration Testing (SIT) as required to professional quality standards ensuring that the end-to-end data exchanges between organisations and systems works as it should and that the company systems are correctly configured to meet the documented requirements.
Support the user community in undertaking User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Support the preparation of the solution for live operation.
Perform implementation and post implementation support tasks both on and off site as required by the project.
Projects are generally centered around company / Client warehouses located throughout Europe. The role will be a combination of remote and on-site working the balance of which will vary by project.
