IT security engineer for endpoint protection

Job summary

Materialise is seeking a seasoned Security Lead to own and guard our network and security infrastructure in Barcelona. You will guide security implementations across domains, enforce governance, and act as the primary contact for security issues.

Translate regulatory requirements into actionable steps and design a secure framework enabling the business to operate confidently. You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate critical incidents, and shape a strategic network security outlook,

Qualifications

• You have a master’s degree in computer science, Information Security or equivalent by experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in a strong security environment.
• High level Cybersecurity skills (network and infrastructure level) and Endpoint protection Skills.
• Fluent in English and a strong negotiator.
• Three product technologies: Cloud (AWS, Azure) security, M365 security features, Endpoint protection, Privileged management, Next generation firewalling, Security incident management.

• You are keenly interested in Security First approach with a strong focus on Endpoint Security
• You have a master's degree in computer science, Information Security or equivalent by experience
• You have 5-10 years of experience in a strong security environment
• You have high level Cybersecurity skills (network and infrastructure level) and Endpoint protection Skills
• You are a critical thinker, pragmatic and self-organized
• You are a strong leader with excellent Project Management skills
• You are fluent in English and a strong negotiator
• You should at least master three product technologies: Cloud (AWS, Azure) Security M365 Security features Endpoint protection Privileged management Next generation firewalling Security incident management
