Tradebe is seeking an IT QA / Development Manager to lead software development and quality assurance across SAP ABAP and SAP UI5 environments. You will manage third-party providers, ensure governance, and align solutions with the technology roadmap.

The role requires 5+ years in similar positions, fluent English and Spanish, and the ability to travel. The position offers a hybrid work model with international scope across six countries.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: More than 5 years in a similar position, including experience managing software development within the SAP ecosystem.
• Skills: SAP ABAP, SAP UI5, software development lifecycle management, quality assurance, software architecture principles, outsourced team management, project management, and change management.
• Other Requirements: Fluent English and Spanish; availability to travel; ability to lead and develop technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software development initiatives from requirements gathering through delivery, ensuring scope, quality, timelines, documentation, and training requirements are met.
• Manage and coordinate software development teams and outsourced providers across SAP ABAP and SAP UI5 environments.
• Define and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls for business applications.
• Monitor software quality, audit development activities, and ensure compliance with corporate and legal standards.
• Oversee change management activities, planning and scheduling enhancements while minimising business disruption.
• Analyse quality metrics and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and proactively resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Service Desk teams to investigate incidents and implement sustainable solutions.
• Ensure software solutions align with the company architecture and technology roadmap.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and prioritise development activities.

The IT QA / Development Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software developments executed by third-party providers across Tradebe business applications, particularly within the SAP ecosystem. The role combines software development leadership, quality assurance, solution architecture oversight, project governance, and change management to ensure reliable, scalable, and business-aligned technology solutions.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications – Must Have

Preferred Qualifications – Nice To Have

• ITIL certification.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Background as an IT consultant or member of a corporate IT organisation.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and development quality controls.
