IT HEAD of Global Applications

You will optimize the performance of both internal teams and external partners to deliver secure, innovative, and scalable solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Alignment: Define and lead the global strategy for delivering and evolving enterprise applications.
  2. Project Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end execution of projects, from conception to closure, ensuring timely delivery within budget and high quality standards.
  3. Application Evolution: Lead development and implementation strategies for evolving enterprise applications to meet changing business needs and leverage emerging technologies.
  4. Supervise management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of applications, ensuring availability and optimal performance.
  5. Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of application delivery processes, ensuring agile service delivery.
  6. Interact with business areas to understand needs, propose improvements, and provide expert process knowledge.
  7. Act as Delivery Manager, ensuring proper resource allocation, progress tracking, and resolution of critical incidents.
  8. Team Development: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across geographies, fostering professional growth and motivation.
  9. Vendor Management: Evaluate and coordinate third-party vendors, establishing KPIs and SLAs for operational excellence.
  10. Innovation and Compliance: Identify opportunities for technological innovation and digital transformation, ensuring security, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
  11. Budget and Reporting: Manage budgets and prepare progress reports for senior management.

Education

A university degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required. A master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent certification is highly valued.

Specific Knowledge
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise application projects.
  • Knowledge of industrial applications, HR, legal, procurement, and manufacturing domains is highly valued.
  • Experience leading third-party development teams and a background in programming.
  • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies and project management.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms, specifically SAP.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector is highly valued.
  • Strategy and management consulting experience is desirable.
  • Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Experience working in global and multicultural environments is a plus.

Salary: fixed + 20% bonus.
