Flywire is seeking an autonomous, forward-thinking IT Support Engineer II based in Valencia to drive operational excellence within our global IT Operations team.

You will be the face of IT for our Valencia Hub, providing high-touch technical support, ensuring a smooth digital workplace for all employees, and balancing hands-on troubleshooting with core SaaS administration and asset lifecycle management.

Formación

• 3+ years in a technical IT support or engineering role within a fast-paced Tech or FinTech environment.
• Hands-on experience administering and securing macOS and Windows endpoints, with exposure to Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.

Job Description

The Role

Flywire is seeking an autonomous, forward-thinking IT Support Engineer II based in Valencia to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within our global IT Operations team.

In this role, you will be the face of IT for our vibrant Valencia Hub, providing high-touch technical support and ensuring a smooth digital workplace for all employees. Operating as a crucial link between local support needs and global IT infrastructure, you will balance hands-on technical troubleshooting and core SaaS administration with physical asset lifecycle management.

Beyond traditional helpdesk ticket resolution, you will act as an on-site "sensor" for our global IT Operations unit—identifying root causes, eliminating manual workflows, and helping fuel our transition toward AI-driven support solutions, self-service tools, and continuous automation.

Note: This is a full-time, on-site role at our Valencia office to lead physical asset logistics, provisioning, and high-touch support for our local team.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Troubleshooting & Support: Provide exceptional technical support and advanced L2 hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting for both local on-site employees and our remote global workforce.


• First-Line Access Governance: Act as a critical guardian for our SOC2 compliance and User Access Reviews (UAR) by maintaining tight Identity and Access Management (IAM) standards across corporate platforms.


• Process Evolution & Automation: Shift daily focus from quick workarounds to system scaling. Document SOPs to feed internal AI knowledge engines and propose workflow automations to eliminate recurring "noise".


• SaaS Stack Administration: Manage user access, permissions, and configurations across Flywire's core platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Jira).


• Asset Lifecycle Ownership: Autonomously lead physical IT hardware operations (procurement, unboxing, asset tagging, and Zero-Touch provisioning via MDM) with 100% data integrity in our inventory database.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global IT Cloud and CPE teams to support local infrastructure updates and maintain seamless operations across time zones.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• The \"Product\" & Automation Mindset: You don't just \"fix\" issues—you investigate root causes, document scalable solutions, and leverage structured ticketing data to build self-service and AI-driven tools.


• Proven Experience: 3+ years in a technical IT support or engineering role within a fast-paced Tech or FinTech environment.


• OS & Stack Expertise: Hands-on experience administering and securing macOS and Windows endpoints, along with deep exposure to Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.


• Hands-on Logistics: Direct experience managing hardware lifecycle, vendor coordination, and accurate stock forecasting.


• Fluent English: High proficiency (written and spoken) to collaborate daily with international infrastructure teams.

Bonus Points

• Direct experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell), APIs, or workflow tools (e.g., Okta Workflows) for IT task automation.


• Practical exposure to AI-powered ticketing systems, auto-routing, or conversational AI support.


• Hands-on knowledge of Zero-Touch MDM deployment (Jamf, Intune) and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
