Ball in Spain is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to supervise shift operations and manage resources for efficient production development. You will coordinate personnel and materials to meet daily targets, while ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to procedures on-site at the Llinars plant.

• Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) level or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a production operator with previous leadership in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with the production area and ability to respond to risk or disaster situations.
• Basic computer skills for production database; MS Office (Word and Excel).
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise production operations to meet productivity and quality objectives.
• Monitor production continuously and manage line interruptions with timely corrective actions.
• Organize production priorities and follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure smooth shift operations.
• Prepare shift handover and shift reports covering safety, quality and maintenance.
• Focus on reducing spoilage and minimizing machine downtime.
• Lead the production and shift team to ensure organization, performance and a positive work environment.
• Allocate operators across workstations and adjust staffing for changes or overtime as needed.
• Provide regular feedback to employees and verify attendance at start of shift.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure proper functioning of machinery and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and food safety standards.

Position overview

The Production Team Leader wiil ensure efficient production development throughout the shift by coordinating and supervising people and material resources.

Key responsibilities include

• Supervise production operations to meet productivity and quality objectives
• Performingcontinuous and systematic production monitoring, monitoringthe volume produced on each line and managingline interruption situations - implementingcorrective measures at the correct time
• Organizingproduction priorities and follow instructions from the Production Manager to ensure smooth shift operations, monitoring and ensuring efficient and standardized execution of changeovers
• Responsible for station handover and preparingthe shift report including the following issues: safety, quality, maintenance/equipment
• Focusing on reducing spoilage and minimizing machine downtime
• Lead the production and shift team to ensure organization, performance, and a positive work environment
• Directly managingthe members of his team to meet daily production schedules, ensuring optimal allocation of operators across workstations and reallocate staff as necessary to maintain operations and request shift changes or overtime in line with company policies
• Providing regular feedback to each employee, including those in trial period and verifying personnel attendance at the start of the shift and monitor operators presence at their assigned workstations
• Monitoring maintenance operations for machinery and facilities to ensure proper functioning and coordinatingactions with the maintenance department and section staff in the event of a breakdown
• Ensuringcompliance with safety, hygiene, and food safety standards in production and packaging processes

What are we looking for?

• Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) level or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a production operator is required as well as previous leadership experience in manufacturing
• Familiarity with the production area and the ability to respond effectively to risk or disaster situations
• Basic computer skills for completing the production database. MS Office (Word and Excel)
• Fluent English

Work Environment

This role requires full on-site presence at our Llinarsplant.

Hiring Rate

35,000EUR gross per month. The final salary will be determined based on the candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.
