A biotechnology startup in Madrid is seeking a talented Scientist / Senior Scientist. You will lead antibody development and validation for our photonic immunoassay platform. The ideal candidate has a PhD in Life Sciences, 2+ years of relevant experience, and excellent communication skills. This role is a wet lab position, requiring hands-on work with antibodies and involvement in scientific publications.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in antibody / chimeric protein development.

Company Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Scientist / Senior Scientist to join our team. The selected candidate will lead the antibody development and validation for our photonic immunoassay platform.

This role offers an opportunity to make a real impact and advance within an agile, science-driven start-up. Being responsible of performing experiment focus on the antibody development from start to finish (immunization – hybridoma screening – antibody engineering – antibody production).

Characterize and perform quality control of purified antibodies molecules using biochemical and biophysical methods (e.g. This is a wet lab position and it is expected for you to directly perform the above-mentioned tasks.

Analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate experimental data, both verbally and in written reports.

Support the Immunochemistry team in antibody testing and contribute to day-to-day lab operations (e.g. maintenance of instruments, preparation of SOPs and risk assessments).

Being a proactive player in writing scientific publications and grants.

PhD in Life Science, Molecular Biology, Immunology or related fields.

~2+ years of experience in antibody / chimeric protein development, with strong understanding of antibody engineering and scale-up production

~ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific data into actionable insights.

Fluent in English (spoken and written)
