Ferrovial is seeking a proactive IT budgeting professional in Madrid to join the Information Systems & Innovation Division. You will consolidate IT budgets, monitor monthly closings, and prepare executive reports while developing Power BI dashboards for budgets and IT users.

The role requires a strong background in engineering or business, excellent English, and experience with budgeting tools and IT processes. A full-time on-site position in Madrid offers growth and cross-unit mobility.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
• Proficiency in English (C1) with strong written and reading skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and IT control processes.
• Experience with Power BI, Jira, and SAP/FRIS is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Consolidate, monitor, and share IT & Innovation budget information with stakeholders.
• Review monthly closings and monitor deviations in SAP (FRIS) and cost reallocations.
• Monitor KPIs for the new cost allocation model and end-to-end process.
• Prepare internal and external reports and executive presentations.
• Adapt monthly closing templates for upload into the budget tool.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for budgets and IT users.
• Support calculation of technology allocation costs charged to business units.
• Collaborate with Portfolio team on budget allocation.

In addition, it provides corporate services to the Group's companies while consolidating their information.The selected candidate will join the Information Systems & Innovation Division , within the Digital Transformation and CIIO Office team.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the following departmental activities within the IT & Innovation Control, Governance and Budget area:Consolidate, monitor, update, and share IT & Innovation budget information with stakeholders within the Information Systems & Innovation Division, including budget forecasts, taking into account financial variables such as business indicators, benchmarks, and market ratios.Review and monitor monthly closings, anticipating potential deviations and risks, and proposing corrective actions and improvement initiatives, including review of goods receipts without corresponding invoices in SAP (FRIS), cost reallocations between budget lines, cost distributions, etc.Monitor KPIs related to the new business cost allocation model and budget evolution, as well as the end-to-end process from initiative creation through invoicing and collection.Participate in the assessment of budget management processes and governance models, ensuring alignment with related processes such as procurement and initiative portfolio management.Prepare reports for both internal and external use, as well as executive presentations supporting budget reviews and forecast discussions.Adapt monthly closing and budget templates for upload into the budget management tool.Collect information and complete INE surveys.Provide support to internal stakeholders in resolving questions and incidents related to both financial and administrative matters within the IT Control area.Collaborate with the Portfolio team in budget allocation across initiatives.Prepare monthly closings using the Tagetik tool.Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards within the area (travel control dashboard, monthly closings, budgets, IT users, etc.).Prepare annual parameter files sent to business units based on Power BI dashboards.Support the preparation and calculation of technology allocation costs charged to business units.REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.If you come from a more entrepreneurial or innovative background, such as LEINN or a similar program, we would also be delighted to hear from you.Skills & KnowledgeEnglish proficiency at C1 level or above, with strong written and reading skills.Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Planner, etc.).Knowledge of and/or experience with project management tools (Jira or similar).Knowledge of and/or experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar).Knowledge of or experience in business process optimization (process reengineering, RPA, Power Platform, etc.) will be considered a plus.Knowledge of or experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools (Claude, Cowork, Copilot).CompetenciesProactive mindset with a strong commitment to teamwork.Problem-solving attitude, high level of autonomy, and results-oriented approach.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Analytical and numerical capabilities, with the ability to identify and solve problems from a strategic perspective.Previous internship experience in a similar department within a multinational company will be highly valued.Seize the challenge.
