Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient, via G+D Mobile Security in Barcelona, seeks a Technical Solution Manager to own the strategy and lifecycle of an IoT solution, bridging technical depth with market needs. You will drive cross-product initiatives, coordinate with engineers and external partners, and ensure connectivity and regulatory requirements are translated into robust product features.

Fluency in English is required; Spanish or German are a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or comparable.
• 3+ years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering, or development of IoT or industrial products.
• Understanding connectivity requirements for NFC, RFID, Wifi, BLE, and cellular, in coordination with connectivity portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for the Smart Label product line in the high valuables domain.
• Coordinate device developments and redesigns with the lead engineer and external partner.
• Own the connectivity strategy and lifecycle for all IoT device product lines.
• Translate market and customer requirements into technical features and feed into product development.
• Prioritize functions and development tasks with partners and internal teams.
• Interact with customers, technical consultants, and sales to understand market needs.
• Support certification and testing activities from a product perspective (CE, EMC, NFC/RFID).
• Monitor product performance, field feedback, and quality KPIs.
