Job summary

adesso Spain is seeking a skilled Mobile Developer to join our international team in Barcelona. You will design, develop, and maintain native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, while collaborating across functions to deliver new features.

You’ll drive modular architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and end-to-end App Store releases, contributing to international projects in a hybrid setup and occasional travel to Germany.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks XCTest, Quick, Nimble.
• Experience with AI tools to support development tasks.

You’ll play a key role in the development of high-quality mobile applications, contributing to international projects and working in a collaborative, agile environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.
• Build and maintain modular iOS app architectures that support scalability and code reusability.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Manage the end-to-end release process for the Apple App Store.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience in native iOS development.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit.
• Solid understanding of modular app architecture and clean code principles.
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Apple App Store.
• Familiarity with iOS testing frameworks such as XCTest, Quick, and Nimble.
• Experience using AI tools, particularly Claude, to support iOS development tasks such as coding, debugging, testing, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English (fluency required); Spanish and/or German are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automated testing, iOS app performance tuning, and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to GitHub workflows, Jenkins, and DevOps best practices.
• Experience with accessibility and localization in iOS applications.
