Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a dedicated Inventory Management professional in Vega del Codorno, Castilla-La Mancha. The role requires you to monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels while ensuring exceptional customer service. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic mathematical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively. You will work in a dynamic retail environment, with responsibilities ranging from stock counting to maintaining a clean workspace. Flexibility in schedule is key, including availability on weekends and holidays.

Job Summary

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels within the Inventory Management System. Greets and engages customers consistent with our Core Value of “Jump Over the Counter Service Excellence”.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs stock counts in the Inventory Management System daily to ensure accuracy of product balances on hand.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels through proper ordering and receiving of product.
• Ensures all pending inventory transactions are reviewed and completed daily.
• Communicates with store director on inventory levels; researches any shortages and corrects unacceptable shelf conditions.
• Ensures product levels are maintained and replenished on shelves.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures. Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
• Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
• Takes precautionary safety measures when using equipment and work tools.
• Assists with all other assigned duties, including period and bi-annual inventory service counts.

• Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

Education, Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.
• High school Diploma or GED and one or more years of related experience preferred.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 55 lbs.
• Frequently required to talk and hear.
• Frequently required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
• Frequently required to bend, kneel or squat.
