Amazon in Barcelona, Spain seeks an Inventory Planner for EU Middle Mile Forecasting and Planning to optimize forecast accuracy, CX metrics, and cost. You will drive end-to-end forecasting initiatives, collaborate with Tech, and lead improvement programs across multiple teams.

The role requires strong data analysis skills, experience with forecasting, and excellent English communication. You will plan weekly publications and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you drive end-to-end forecasting and improvement initiatives for Amazon’s Middle Mile operations in EU, aiming to optimize speed, delivery accuracy, and cost. You collaborate with Tech and cross-functional teams to refine forecast signals and implement data-driven solutions. You’ll lead the forecast accuracy roadmap and manage improvement programs from start to finish, balancing big-picture analysis with hands-on delivery. This opportunity lets you shape the forecasting signal for scale, while enhancing customer experience and efficiency.

• Plan and execute weekly high-volume Middle Mile forecast publications to optimize CX metrics (Speed, Cost, DEA)
• Strengthen the relationship between planning and Tech to improve forecast signals
• Deep dive on forecast accuracy misses and coordinate rollout of corrective plans
• Lead the forecast signal improvement roadmap with Tech, setting clear accuracy targets
• Develop innovative, data-driven solutions across the organization with cross-functional stakeholders
• Adopt a big-picture analysis approach to drive improvements across multiple teams and organizations
• Collaborate with leadership to define and deliver prioritized improvement programs, with regular status updates
• Challenge outbound transportation and supply chain processes to align end-to-end forecasting signals
• Lead efforts to navigate challenges and maintain a proactive and reactive forecast planning posture during busy periods
