Job summary

sennder GmbH in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking an Internal Auditor to strengthen our internal control environment across Finance. You will lead internal audit activities, develop control frameworks, and work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.

The role requires 2-5 years of audit experience, fluency in English, and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). Based in our Barcelona office, you will report to the Finance department and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA, CPA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in internal and/or external audit, with Big 4 or similar experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audit activities and strengthen the internal control environment across Finance and adjacent functions.
• Plan and execute internal audit reviews end-to-end, including scoping, fieldwork, findings, remediation tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit cycles across year-end and interim periods.
