Taptap Digital in Madrid invites an ambitious intern for the Junior Data & AI Engineer role. You will help build data pipelines and workflows within the Sonata platform, collaborating with Product and AI teams to enable data analysis and informed decision-making.

The internship offers practical experience in the digital advertising sector, exposure to large-scale data processing, and a chance to contribute to AI-driven projects while developing skills in data engineering and AI tooling.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and eligible for an internship.
• Basic knowledge of databases.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies such as LLM or ChatGPT.
• Basic knowledge of Big Data architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in building and maintaining data systems and pipelines to support the visualization of business metrics.
• Participate in processing and analysis of large volumes of data to generate actionable insights.
• Contribute to AI‑driven innovation projects aimed at optimizing business processes and workflows.
• Analyze, design, and develop RAG architectures.
• Implement mechanisms to improve data quality and accuracy from both technical and business perspectives.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous evolution of Taptap's technology stack.

Internship – Junior Data & AI Engineer

We are looking for an inspired and motivated intern to join our team and contribute to the development of data pipelines and workflows within the Sonata platform, collaborating with the Product and AI teams to build solutions that support data analysis, informed decision‑making, and innovation at Taptap.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and eligible for an internship.
• Basic knowledge of databases.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence technologies such as LLM or ChatGPT.
• Basic knowledge of Big Data architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Node.js, and Python.
• Experience using AI agents for software development and research (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
